All signs point to prices being at their lowest ebb, and the scales are tipping.  Inquiries are being received by phone, email and also with walk-ins to our office at beautiful Bohicket Marina.  Historically low interest rates are helping to shrink the inventory on both Seabrook and Kiawah Islands.  We are cautiously optimistic…

Buyers of course continue to have price as the major factor in their purchase which can be a complication for sellers who are often in a position where they do not need to sell “at any price”.  The discrepancy between bargain hunbters’ price pressure and sellers will remain for a while, but once we have investors back in the mix we fully expect that lot sales will improve  – and  we are buoyed by the amount of new construction that is under way at this time.  This is a positive indicator of an upswing in the market that we are very hopeful will continue to build during the course of the year.
