The Charleston Association of Realtors recently posted their market reports for the Low Country. Linked below are the reports for the performance of the real estate markets of Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island.
Dunes Properties this past weekend sponsored the inaugural 5K Turtle Trek on Isle of Palms to help benefit the turtle hospital at the Charleston Aquarium. Even though located about 20-25 miles northeast as the turtle swims, Isle of Palms is still just as important a nesting beach to the turtles as the beaches we call our own here on Kiawah and Seabrook.
This event resonated with us at dunes properties given our involvement in selling real estate along the Charleston Coast, the same real estate the turtles call home. The Kiawah Seabrook group was well represented at the event with Karen Hilty and Joy Millar participating. They were also joined by Kristin Walker, one of our downtown sales associates, and Traci Magnus, our head of marketing.
This event is something Karen found very important as she actively participates in the Turtle Patrol here on our beaches on Kiawah and Seabrook. Karen had this to say after the event, “The race was a sell out, and our performance…well, let’s just say it was in keeping with the named beneficiary!!!!”
