Dr. Beach “American’s Foremost Beach Expert”, director of the Laboratory for Coastal Research at Florida International university has ranked the Top 10 beaches every year since 1991. He bases his findings on 50 criteria such as water and sand quality, facilities available and trash maintenance.
We cannot remember a year where Kiawah’s Beachwalker Park has not been on that list.

CHERRY POINT SHRIMP SEASON COMES TO AN END… FOR NOW

Seabrook Island: Wednesday, January 16 2013

What better on a January day registering 73 degrees than to jump into a boat or kayak on Seabrook, coast over to Cherry Point and buy fresh shrimp straight off the boats… throw the shrimp on ice….. and cruise home. It really doesn’t get much better than this.
Shrimp for dinner tonight – and another 9 lbs(!) in the freezer.

How lucky are we? Enjoy Seabrookers, and future Seabrookers… c’mon down y’all.

CONGRATULATIONS SEABROOK – 2 amazing years.

Property Owners and guests celebrated in style on the Lake House lawn after a day of exhibitions and entertainment beginning at the Equestrian Center, moving to the Tennis Center, then culminating with wonderful music, food and reminiscences of people and events on Seabrook over 25 years.  The Charleston Symphony Orchestra was a fabulous toe tapping, hand clapping treat.    The biggest joy for this writer was seeing such a large gathering of Seabrookers enjoying the beautiful space created for our enjoyment…the Lake House lawn with Palmetto lake as a backdrop.  Here’s to many more events in this great space.
