Karen Hilty doesn’t just sell real estate on Kiawah Island, she lives there too. Karen brings a local’s perspective to her years of experience and expertise in our Island communities. After working as an educator and therapist, Karen embarked on a career in sales and marketing. This proved to be a valuable springboard into the world of real estate, which Karen entered when she became President and owner of a small real estate investment company, Kareg Enterprises, in 1990. Since then, she has been representing buyers and sellers all along the Charleston Coast, specializing in her own neck of the woods, the Islands of Kiawah, Seabrook, Johns, and Wadmalaw.
Since 2006, Joy has been actively involved in Charleston real estate, was featured in the “Top 10 Sold List for Kiawah and Seabrook,” and has been noted as a Realtor® of Distinction. Jane discovered Kiawah and Seabrook Islands in the mid 1990s and she soon relocated from Ohio. Her real estate career began as a receptionist but it wasn't long before she had her license. She has actively been selling on the islands for over two decades. Jane is a Lay Eucharistic Minister in the Anglican Church and is a certified Pilates instructor. In her spare time she enjoys volunteer work at the church, walking her dog on the beach, biking, hitting golf balls, and enjoying friends.
Jack Wilson grew up in Charlotte, NC. In 1999, he entered the real estate business dealing primarily with land acquisitions and overseeing high-end residential developments for a large land development company. Jack has been married to his wife Renee for over 30 years and they have three wonderful children together; Jason, Piper, and Kaley. They moved to Seabrook Island in 2015. They absolutely love the Charleston area and Jack hopes to help others find their own little piece of Lowcountry paradise.
Sharon Welch began her career in real estate in 1983. She and 30-year business partner and husband, Ron, relocated from Atlanta to Seabrook Island in 2005. Her experience spans commercial and residential real estate, development partnerships, site acquisition, conservation zoning, new construction, and property management. In 2004, she and her husband became part of the ownership group of Bohicket Marina. Sharon is often accompanied on the island and at the Marina by her beloved Scottish Terrier, Brodie.
Brendan Magee has been handling real estate transactions since 1998 working for two publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REIT’s) and running his own residential real estate company. He has owned properties on Johns Island and Kiawah since 1996. Originally from the Washington DC area, Brendan played college basketball at Winthrop University and after earning his MBA, served as an Assistant Coach at Boston College and the College of Charleston. Brendan’s Lowcountry passions include boating, fishing, and golfing!
Sherry Marshall has lived in Charleston her entire life loves meeting and helping people make the transition from one home to another. In fact, it was after he visited the Kiawah and Charleston areas for the 1991 Ryder Cup, that he decided to move to the Charleston area in 2004. Bob now lives on Johns Island and specializes in waterfront properties and resort communities. He has worked primarily on Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island since 2007, but he handles client referrals throughout the Charleston area.
